The History of My Use with the Internet.

When I was a kid, I had a simple life and then technology evolved. I remember when My parents had the computer room and then thin computers came out and so they had no use for the large, clunky computer anymore. They decided to set it up in my hutch so I could use it with like homework I guess.

I thought it was cool having one of these in my room considering all my friends thought it was cool but I had no idea how to use it. I don’t even think I had the internet until I told my parents. I would just use the drawing effects built in the computer when I got grounded and my phone taken away.

Once I got the internet, I used Google all. the. time. I was so weird because I would just look up things like cartoons or things to draw and just draw looking at a computer screen for hours. I would spend my weekends watching Saturday morning cartoons with my brother and once that ended I would go up to my room and draw and draw. I guess its good that I’m an art major, otherwise that sounds lame. But after I realized there is more to the internet than Google, I had friends who told me about Skype and I did that for a while (I could never use the camera though because my computer didn’t have one.) I wasn’t allowed to get a MySpace even though my bestfriend and her older sister had one so social media didn’t interest me much. That sums up my relationship with the internet until I got a phone that had the internet and I didn’t need the computer anymore. Now I have matured, all I do is look things up and get on social medias.
