- I come from a family where people read books with 500-1000 pages, from the time they could read. I don’t. I read for different reasons, and have short attention span when it comes to reading for pleasure.
I have learned a lot from interviewing these people in my life. I felt like people didn’t read anymore and that I was the only one who still did it for fun. I realized that the people I surround myself with enjoy it as well. I think for the very reason of the twitter poll and results I got from my interviewers, that the book industry will never stop making books out of paper. People probably wouldn’t read anymore. I feel like there is an understood personal connection with books that cannot be recreated.
